Rela’s QuickBooks Integration ensures your clients, invoices, and products are in sync between your Rela and QuickBooks account.

Getting started with Rela's QuickBooks integration is easy!

Step 1 – Connect your Rela account to QuickBooks:

Head to the Integrations section of the Storefront Dashboard and click the Connect button on the QuickBooks box.

Step 2: Sync Admin Services:

Admin Services are components that Rela uses to manage your invoice data. These services are not visible to you from your Rela account, but you will see these show up as line items in your QBO account. Rela’s Admin Services are typically used to adjust invoices for partial balance payments and/or applied discounts.

Step 3: Sync your Products and Services:

When syncing your services from Rela to QuickBooks, we will automatically match services in QuickBooks that have the exact title in Rela. For services that aren’t matched, you can create a new service or you can select from the list of other services found in QuickBooks.

Please note: If your services in Rela are using Sales Tax, you must enable Sales Tax in your QBO account.

Step 4: Syncing Customers:

When syncing your customers from Rela to QuickBooks, Rela will automatically connect customers that have an exact match for name and email. If there is a partial match (name or email), you will be able to verify that the record found should be synced, you can choose to create a new customer in QuickBooks. If there are no matches found for a customer in Rela, then we will create a new customer record in QuickBooks.

Step 5: Sync Existing Invoices:

The final step is syncing your existing invoices. This step is optional and you should only do this if you have not been manually creating Rela invoices in your QuickBooks account, as this may cause duplicate invoices. If you would like to skip this step, click the Don't Syncing Existing Invoices option. If you skip syncing existing invoices, you will be able to sync the invoice at a later time.

Once you've completed the connection and initial data sync, you'll see status indicators on the agent details and invoice summary on the order edit screen. Clicking the link will take you to the item's detail page in your QuickBooks account.
